Paradise on Earth
A Solo Sculpture Exhibition of Pang Yong
Unknowingly, ¡°art¡± has become probably the most overused word of the 21st Century, and apotheoses and devilries deriving from art abound.
In modern society, as a result of a lack of faith and the decline of morality, some people¡¯s belief is nothing but to reach their goals by fair means or foul. Everyone claims to be an artist, and everything can be considered as art. Like small commodities in market, art is simply produced to cater to the demand and taste of the buyers. Involuntarily, people live amidst tremendous temptations. Whether you want it or not, do you think it is easy to resist the flood of temptation?
When imagination is set back, when life becomes fragmented, seeming to be or not to be, art goes beyond time and space and depicts the most fervent sensation and thinking rooted in our hearts. It helps us return to the space of imagination, resume the erased self, and even regain the feeling of life. It represents the varying possibilities of life; hence where there is a taste of life, there is a genre of art.
Sincerity counts most. We should feel the joy and grief of life, as well as the supernatural predestination, with genuine sincerity. After all, life must not be cheated.
